An Aviary For Today
My first solo show with Espacio Mínimo, Madrid. From March 25 to May 27, 2023.
This show brought together an aviary of inter-related works, each centered on birds as present day allegorical symbols of the fragility, vulnerability and impermanence of nature and of human coexistence with the rest of the natural world. The bird-scale works exist in a world of shadow and imprint, presence and absence, reflection and nostalgia.
